Inverness <> Inverness traces a line between two places that share a name: Inverness, Scotland and Inverness, California. Developed from fieldwork in both landscapes, the project considers how place is carried through migration, memory, and inherited relationships to land. Woven textiles and painted warps translate topography, water, weather, and routes of travel into shifting fields of color and structure. Moving between image and abstraction, the works approach landscape not as a fixed view, but as something continually read, remembered, and remade.
